Co-authored brief for Brookings on Indian Leadership on Climate Change, May 06

Despite anxieties around India’s commitment to low-carbon energy options, and its significant fiscal and development challenges, India punches well above its weight in terms of its expenditure on renewable energy. Samir Saran and Vivan Sharan argue that India must shed its inhibitions and demand higher level of commitment from the bigger economies on clean energy when the world leaders meet in Paris for COP 21.
